Weight Gain Diet

I have been reading so much about eating 6 meals a day and taking supplements.  I couldn’t imagine eating 6 meals a day so I thought this task was going to be impossible for me.  Any goal can be achieved once you put your brain into the right mind frame.  Start out with smaller meals like an apple and a chicken sandwich and eventually you will be able to eat 5 to 6 large meals as your body adapts to the changes.

Here is a sample meal plan that I followed that worked for me.  We all don’t like the same foods so find the ones that work for you and make substitutions where necessary.  Remember don’t be intimidated by so many meals just start off with an extra meal a day and work your way up till you can comfortably eat up to 5 to six meals.

Sample meal plan

  • Breakfast  – A bowl of cereal,  4 Eggs, 3 sausages links, 3 slices of toast
  •  Mid morning  – Protein shake and banana
  • Lunch    -Boneless chicken breast, Side of peas, carrots and potatoes
  • Mid day snack  -Protein shake with some strawberry
  • Dinner  -Pasta with ground beef   Raisins and Yoghurt   Grapes
  •  Late night  -Chicken sandwich with cheese, Apple
